Letsure
the long established landlord and tenant rental insurance company and credit checker
on tenants is expanding its operation in, Glasgow, Scotland Letsure
have just launched a recruitment campaign to increase the number of staff at their
credit search reference centre at Granite House, Stockwell Street, Glasgow. The
company that was established in 1983 has been based in Glasgow for many years
and as Lumley Holdings Group up until it became part of the Erinaceous Insurance
Group in 2007 being part of the same group that owned it's major competitor HomeLet.
They also had an office in Maidenhead that was closed when they became part of
Erinaceous. In
2008 the group separated from Erinaceous and became Barbon Insurance Group Limited
and in February this year Mr Ian Fraser was appointed Managing Director. Shortly
afterwards it was possible once again for landlords and tenants to arrange insurance
on line via providers such www.jml-property-insurance.co.uk who have been an online
Letsure introduction agent since 2002. The
company currently employs 55 staff at Glasgow and as part of its expansion programme
is looking to recruit a further 30 experienced sales consultants and five accounts
personnel. The
Head of Sales is Steven Elliot who commented "We have been growing the business
from our Glasgow base through the creation of a bespoke service for both letting
agents and landlords. Our objective has been to revolutionise the market and provide
lettings professionals with a service that leaves them to continue doing what
they are good at, letting properties. "Our
main base is in Glasgow and we believe the quality of local candidates is invariably
high, providing a mix of knowledge and a strong work ethic. We have ambitions
to expand further in Scotland and now require to grow our retained workforce to
help us realise our growth ambitions and allow us to fulfil significant new business

are most fortunate in the fact that many of the staff have been employed by the
company in excess of five years and Steven Elliot said""We look to continually
invest in our staff through a phased training programme and have recently refurbished
our contact centre to create a more aspirational working environment. "We
have also introduced a number of exciting staff incentives which will reward our
top sales people as the business grows throughout the next 12 months." Philip
