Financial Regulator warns consumers to check the excess on
home insurance policies - Ireland - For the first time, the
home insurance cost comparisons feature the excess that applies
to each quote. This is the amount of each claim that consumers
must pay themselves and may only apply on certain types of
claims. The comparisons show that, depending on the provider,
the excess can vary between €100 and €500, for standard claims

risk card theft - British holidaymakers are often complacent
with their debit and credit cards when abroad, a card fraud
expert has claimed. Research by CPP revealed that over a third
of all card offences committed against UK citizens now occur
in foreign destinations, so holidaymakers need to be increasingly
aware of the dangers when using a card abroad.

Buy to Let Investors - The Prime Investors in Today's Property
Market - Buy to Let landlords are increasingly resolved to
maintain their portfolios of residential investment property.
This is despite the fall in house prices. Only a tiny minority,

may not be covered if their property is damaged by tenants
