Consultants
are working with Lincolnshire C.C. and other partners to produce a handbook of
flood resilience measures, which will include information on all flood risk management
methodologies that are applicable to existing properties. The project is funded
by ADEPT (http://www.adeptnet.org.uk)
and is titled ‘Flood Resilient Measures for Existing Property’ [project ref: 100].
It
should be emphasised that this is simply a research project to build a broad snapshot
of current flood resilience/resistance products and their effectiveness, with
an indication of future trends. The handbook will however be used by local authorities
as a guide for selecting the most appropriate products as and when flood resilience
improvement schemes arise. ____________________ Report
